Jakeは"My philosophy is not dead"という思いを持って作品制作に取り組んでおります。

"My philosophy is not dead"とは、現代の人々に”哲学に対する興味”や”思想”を持って生きることを提案するためのスローガンです。

カッコつけて”哲学”や”思想”だなんて、難しいこと言うなとか思う人もいるかも知れません。
人生において、触れなくても生活していける分野ではありますが、これらを一人ひとりが意識し他人と共有することで、素晴らしい発見や物事の深みに気づく機会が圧倒的に多くなります。
その新たな考え方や知識が元となって、昨今の世の中の発明品やファッション、クリエイティブなアート作品が生まれ、世界を驚かしているといっても過言ではありません。
各個人のいわゆる”センス”というものも、通ずるものがあると私は感じます。

日々過ごしていく中で、些細な出来事にも”哲学”は多く潜んでいます。
それを感じ取る”センス”を育てるきっかけに、そして一人ひとりが日々に忙殺されることなく、"思想"や"哲学"を持って、共有し合いながら日々を過ごしていく面白い世界になればいいなと思い、このプロジェクトを立ち上げました。
より多くの人達の人生を豊かにしていくこと、何においても”知ることの大切さ”を感じてもらえるように、様々なキャンバスを通じて表現していきます。

Jake is working with the idea of "My philosophy is not dead".

"My philosophy is not dead" is a slogan to suggest that people of today live with "interest in philosophy" and "ideas".

Some people may think it's difficult to say "philosophy" or "ideas" for the sake of being cool.
These are areas of life that we can live without touching, but when each of us is aware of them and shares them with others, the opportunities to make wonderful discoveries and realize the depth of things become overwhelmingly greater.
It's no exaggeration to say that these new ways of thinking and knowledge have led to inventions, fashions, and creative works of art that have amazed the world in recent years.
I feel that the so-called "sense" of each individual has something to do with it.

There is a lot of "philosophy" lurking in even the most trivial of events in our daily lives.
I launched this project with the hope that it would be an opportunity for people to develop a sense of "sense" that they can sense, and that it would be an interesting world in which each person could share their ideas and philosophies with each other without being too busy in their daily lives.
Through various canvases, I will express the importance of knowing in order to enrich the lives of more people.

Love and Peace can't coexist.
